Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Architecture Consultant 2 in Richardson, TX, to lead scalable, secure architectures for CMT clients in telecom, media, and tech sectors. You will drive performance, security, and integration strategies while embedding AI across the SDLC using Windsurf, Claude, and Copilot to accelerate development and modernization efforts.

The role requires strong experience with Java/Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise data solutions, along with a collaborative approach

Qualifications

• Architect and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Embed AI throughout the SDLC using Windsurf, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate code discovery, reverse engineering, development, testing, defect resolution, documentation, and modernization delivery.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation.
• Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform a comparative analysis in line with client's business requirement, thereby identifying optimal architectural solution options.
• Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions.
• Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to the build and deployment automation strategy.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and roll out methods, during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyze system performance basis architectural solutions implemented and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape.
• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

In the assigned Job Role of Architecture Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Proven hands-on expertise in Microservices and REST APIs within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Architect and govern scalable, secure, and high-performing Oracle database solutions, defining data architecture, performance optimization, integration patterns, security standards, and technical best practices aligned with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
• Architect and govern scalable headless solutions using ReactJS, defining API-first integration patterns, reusable front-end architecture, performance and security standards, and seamless decoupling of the presentation layer from backend services and content platforms.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
