Dexian is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in an agile environment. The role focuses on automated functional testing using Playwright with Java, cloud exposure, and CI/CD integration.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end testing across web applications, contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor junior teammates while supporting production and on-call activities.

Formación

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Experience developing end-to-end functional automation test cases using Playwright with Java.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Experience working with Xray (Jira Test Management) for test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and quality engineering practices.
• Ability to work independently and drive solutions from analysis through implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and procedures.
• Enhance process improvements and automation enhancements.
• Participate in production/application support and on-call rotation as required.

The Role

• Senior Java Engineer will be working in development and delivery of high quality, timely and maintainable software solutions and testing frameworks in an agile environment which meet functional and non-functional business requirements. This role will involve partner & stakeholder engagement, design and release support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Java application development.
• Experience developing end‑to‑end functional automation test cases using Playwright with Java.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Experience working and integrating with Xray (Jira Test Management) for test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality engineering practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and drive solutions from analysis through implementation.
• Experience performing complex technical and functional analysis, design, development, and testing activities.
• Knowledge of application architecture principles and participation in design/architecture reviews.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Trading / Order Management Systems (OMS) / Financial Services domain is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, API testing, and integration testing.
