• Manage nodes of Datastax (Cassandra/SOLR) cluster
• Cassandra cluster connectivity and security
• Datastax Software installation and configuration
• Datastax Software patches and upgrades
• Using monitoring and management tools (e.g. DataStax OpsCenter)
• Database backup and recovery
• Certification as Datastaxt Administrator or Developer
• Experience in relational database.
• Strong understanding of SQL in accessing and manipulating data
• Strong understanding of system architecture.
• Experience with a variety of file formats (XML, JSON, unstructured data, etc.)
