Job summary

Dexian is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications. The candidate will work in a hybrid Tampa environment, delivering Java-based solutions with Spring Boot and messaging systems.

You will build RESTful services, integrate JMS/MQ, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. The role requires strong Java (8+), Spring Boot experience, and familiarity with Maven, Git, Unix/Linux, Tomcat, and relational databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent
• 4–8+ years of Java development experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot
• Build and support RESTful microservices
• Develop and maintain message-driven components using IBM MQ/ActiveMQ/JMS
• Collaborate with QA teams on unit testing and automation
• Troubleshoot, debug, and support apps in QA and production
• Follow coding standards, security guidelines and best practices
• Assist with deployments and production releases using CI/CD pipelines
• Create and maintain technical documentation
