Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking a Software Engineer with Java, Spring Boot, and cloud experience (Azure preferred) to design, develop, test, and document high-quality solutions. The role requires 2-3 years of SDLC experience, microservices, REST APIs, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes in a hybrid environment.

You will write and test code, debug issues, promote secure coding, and collaborate in Agile teams, using TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience/training.
• 2-3 years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and document technical work products following organizational standards and practices.
• Produce high-quality, clear, and well-tested deliverables.
• Debug and resolve design-time and run-time issues, including service interactions.
• Design implementations and enhancements to architecture, ensuring security and performance.
• Collaborate within Agile teams and participate in project management processes.
• Apply DevOps practices including TDD, CI, and CD.
