Position Description:

This position requires a hybrid work setting in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; or Birmingham, AL.

We are seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications, particularly in HR. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and SQL is essential. Familiarity with version control systems (Git), and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office is a plus. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills are key. Knowledge of Agile and cloud platforms (Azure) is advantageous.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Understand the full software development lifecycle from analysis to delivery.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
3. Develop using SQL, Java, J2EE, etc.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
5. Integrate APIs and handle data (JSON, RESTful APIs).
6. Use tools like Git, Angular CLI, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.
7. Apply Agile methodologies, manage backlogs, and participate in sprints.
8. Test and debug applications, including unit and end-to-end testing.
9. Analyze and optimize UI and performance issues.
10. Document designs and create technical documentation.

Required qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related.
2. 4-5 years of experience in Java/J2EE web application development.
3. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, SQL.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary range is $57,100 - $121,900, dependent on experience and qualifications.
