Job description

Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire an Oracle Java developer with Oracle Identity Management experience to support our DLA AMPS Sustainment Contract. This position is 100% remote.

AMPS is based on a suite of Oracle Identity Governance software. This position is a technical role that will provide assistance with the maintenance and support of a production, stage, and Development/Test infrastructure and system for the IAM System, built on the Oracle OIM software, a Java based Weblogic Solution. The candidate should have experience working with large complex java Weblogic application configurations and support, web hosting with multiple server tier levels, and application and server level clustering and load balancing. This position will require the candidate to follow DoD policies regarding security, documentation, audit and change control process.

Responsibilities

The Software Developer primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Interact with government product owners and other SMEs to analyze requirements and provide solutions.
  • Assist with onboarding of new customers to include the creation of custom connectors.
  • Debugging, identifying root cause, designing, and implementing required changes to address reported issues with the AMPS system.
  • Designing and implementing assigned enhancement requests to the AMPS system.
  • Support version control and server deployment of enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Performing routine health checks and taking necessary corrective actions for AMPS production support.
  • Assistance and coordination of AMPS system configuration changes, upgrades and migrations.
  • Monitoring/troubleshooting issues in the AMPS production environment.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of Java Development experience
  • 1 to 5 years Oracle Middleware, OIM/OIG experience
  • The ability to obtain Security Clearance ITII, Comptia Security+, Computing Environment Certification (CE)
