Job summary

Remobi Ltd. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a global energy technology group.

You will build and improve backend services using Java 17+, design scalable REST APIs, and develop event-driven microservices with Kafka and RabbitMQ in a fully remote, freelance/contract setup. You will collaborate with a distributed team, contribute to technical decisions, ensure code quality through automated testing, and support production releases while engaging with a registered freelance company to

Qualifications

• Senior-level commercial experience as a Java developer with modern Java (17+).
• Solid experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices on large, complex systems.
• Hands-on Kafka and RabbitMQ messaging experience.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Freelancer with your own registered company, available to start immediately.
• Will be a plus: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and banking or large enterprise experience.

We’re hiring a Senior Java Developer to join a global energy technology group, working on a large-scale internal platform used across the business. You’ll build and improve backend services, design clean and scalable APIs, and develop event-driven microservices as part of a distributed team, while helping shape technical decisions and supporting less experienced developers.
