Job summary

Greycell Labs Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Developer for an on-site, long-term assignment in Albany, NY. The role focuses on Java-based, multi-tier web applications using J2EE or Spring Boot, along with Angular front-ends and REST/SOAP services.

The candidate will work within NYS Department of Labor’s UISIM project to redesign, implement, operate, and maintain integrated unemployment insurance systems, collaborating across teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience building Java-based, multi-tier web apps using J2EE or Spring Boot and agile methods.
• 4 years of experience creating Angular UIs and accessible components meeting ADA/WCAG requirements.
• 4 years of experience designing and integrating REST or SOAP services and backend services.
• 3 years of experience writing complex SQL/DB2/Hibernate/JPA queries.
• 3 years of experience using GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• 2 years of experience deploying or supporting apps on Google Cloud Platform or similar enterprise cloud.
• 2 years of experience analyzing and documenting existing designs, roadmaps, and technical debt.

Responsibilities
