Job summary

SV Tech Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement critical components for a scalable ecommerce platform. You will collaborate with product, operations, and architecture teams in a cross-functional environment to deliver robust solutions.

Ideal candidates have extensive Java experience on Linux, Spring, Groovy REST services, and a solid background in CI with TDD, plus familiarity with relational and non-relational databases. On-site in Richfield, MN.

Qualifications

• 6 years' experience building distributed ecommerce software in Java.
• 2+ years' experience with Spring Framework.
• 2+ years RESTful services using Groovy.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of servlet containers and web architectures.
• 2 years CI with Test Driven Development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement critical system components per solution architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, operations and architecture teams.
• Participate in sprint planning sessions.
• Create documentation for built or modified components.
• Develop test cases and test harnesses for testing.
• Coordinate with Operations to triage issues.
