NYC Financial Information Services Agency – Office of Payroll Administration is seeking a Java developer to support CITYTIME. You will build scalable, secure enterprise apps on the Java platform and oversee the full software lifecycle for citywide timekeeping features.

Key duties include design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, with collaboration across analysts and architects. A solid Java/JEE background and knowledge of MVC/ORM, web services, and SQL are essential.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Java and deep understanding of Java/JEE internals.
• MVC frameworks and ORM technologies; willingness to learn new frameworks.
• Web services and API development experience.
• Relational databases and SQL proficiency.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, version control, and Ant.
• Experience with Blaze Advisor rule engine is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop Java-based applications using Java EE and related technologies.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and teams to gather requirements and integrate components.
• Write clean, testable code; conduct unit/integration tests and code reviews.
