Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and understanding data models.
• Proven ability to design and implement microservices-based solutions.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies (EC2, ECS, Load Balancer, Lambda, S3, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in DevOps, Docker, and containerized deployment (preferred).

We’re looking to hire a Java Developer for a hybrid opportunity in New York, NY. This is a 5-month contract opportunity with a leading technology-driven organization.

Base pay range

$70.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex, high-performance Java applications.
• Work on concurrent and distributed systems using Java 8 and its advanced features (e.g., Streams API).
• Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Build robust applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and caching frameworks such as Hazelcast.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, Load Balancer, Security Group, Lambda, S3, etc.).
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize SQL queries and data models.
