Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to support key government initiatives. This role involves developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications, integrating systems, and ensuring compliance with federal standards. The ideal candidate thrives in hybrid environments and is comfortable navigating government security requirements and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy secure Java applications using Spring Boot and other frameworks
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to meet government requirements
• Design RESTful APIs and work with databases (SQL/Oracle/MySQL)
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to security standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP)
• Maintain documentation for development processes and system designs
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and review meetings
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of Java development experience
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle
• Experience working with federal government clients or government contracts
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of security protocols and government compliance
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred

• Active clearance or ability to obtain one (Public Trust, Secret, etc.)
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React

Work Schedule

Hybrid schedule with regular remote work and on-site presence as required by the client. Flexibility based on project needs.
