Job summary

Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Java Developer to join their Food & Drug Administration/JAADE2 program in Rockville, MD. In this role, you'll work on exciting projects that modernize and enhance software to help the FDA address its challenges.

Salient CRGT seeks a Java Developer for our Food & Drug Administration/JAADE2 program in Rockville, MD.

In this role, you will be part of an exciting team building, maintaining, and troubleshooting software as part of a fast‑paced dynamic team that is dedicated to helping the FDA meet their software modernization challenges. As a developer you will be part of a team of other developers, business analysts, DBAs, and testers, led by highly technical leadership. Your creativity and problem‑solving ability will be an asset as we modernize, enhance, and develop new software solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ Java experience (or commensurate experience without a degree).
• Must be familiar with Agile software development methodology.
• Have previous experience working in an Agile environment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance, including a residency requirement for non‑US citizens to have lived in the United States a minimum of three (3) of the past five (5) years.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with PrimeFaces and/or ICEfaces.
• Experience with Angular.
• Previous experience working with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a plus.
• Experience with J2EE.

• Experience with Weblogic.
• Experience with Ice Faces 8.
