Job summary

Aalacom Technologies in Reston is seeking an experienced Java Developer to own end-to-end feature development, from design to deployment, and resolve challenges with the same. You will be hands-on in debugging, root-cause analysis, and implementing fixes, while engaging with stakeholders to ensure SLA-driven delivery of robust enterprise applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as Java developer.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Strong Java/J2EE fundamentals and OOP skills.
• Hands-on with Spring IoC, Spring MVC, Hibernate and REST API development.
• Experience with build tools (Maven) and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature development and resolve challenges in implementation.

Job description

Independently handle end to end feature development and resolve challenges faced in implementing the same

Keen to learn new technologies and implement the same in feature development within the time frame provided

Hands-on team member, also taking care of debugging, finding root cause analysis and fixing the issues reported on Content Management back end software system

Engage with key stakeholders, internal and external, to understand the problems, issues with the product and features and solve the issues as per SLAs defined

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• 6+ Years of Experience as Java Developer
• -Spring Boot & Microservices experience
• -Strong foundation and expert knowledge in the area of Core Java and J2EE standards.
• -Fluency in programming constructs and working with Spring and Hibernate framework.
• -Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring IoC, Spring MVC, Struts, Hibernate, iBatis or Spring JDBC.
• -Hands-on experience in developing and deploying enterprise applications J2EE middleware stack.
• -Good expertise in working with databases and Query language
• -Strong written and communication skills.
• -Hands on experience in development not in maintenance
• -Experience in complete SDLC .
• -Strong OOPS knowledge
• -Should have experience using build tools like Maven.
• -Experience in Web Services, preferably REST APIs.
