Job summary

ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION LLC is seeking a backend-focused software engineer in Plano, TX to design robust REST APIs, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and implement streaming data solutions. You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable services and maintain high code quality through testing and CI/CD practices.

Ideal candidates have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of REST API design and HTTP/JSON.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and at least one NoSQL store (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
• Experience with message brokers or streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Test-driven mindset: JUnit, Mockito, integration testing frameworks.
