Intone Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Developer for a 12-month contract based in Philadelphia, onsite Tue–Thu. You will design, develop, test, implement, and support scalable web apps, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions for a customer service platform.

You will mentor junior and mid-level developers and work with stakeholders, architects, and product teams to deliver high-quality software while aligning with security and SDLC standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of application development experience.
• 3+ years building enterprise web apps as a full stack developer.
• Hands-on with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with React and/or Angular.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with source control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of AI applications with GCP.

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer for a 12-month contract role based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, working onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. In this senior‑level position, you will design, develop, test, implement, and support scalable web applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions for a customer service platform. You will serve as a technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders, architects, product teams, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software while mentoring junior and mid‑level team members.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable application designs.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integration services supporting internal and external business partners.
• Build modern user interfaces using React and Angular frameworks.
• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform services.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design reviews, and solution planning sessions.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Support production applications by troubleshooting incidents, resolving defects, and implementing enhancements (approximately 30% maintenance and 70% new enhancements).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and software development lifecycle standards.
• Evaluate and leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar technologies to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and implementation guides.
• Work effectively with a distributed team of 10 to 15 developers across onshore and offshore locations.

Qualifications

• Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of application development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing enterprise web applications as a full stack developer.
  • Hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with React and/or Angular.
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with source control systems, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams.
  • Knowledge of AI applications with GCP.

  • Experience with Genesys Cloud.
  • Experience developing cloud‑native applications and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with API gateways, event‑driven architectures, and enterprise integrations.
