Location: Pennington, NJ

Salary Range: $85,000–$90,000/year

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design and develop scalable, distributed enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience building secure, cloud-native applications and working with modern data and integration platforms.

Must Have Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Java/J2EE and enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, REST APIs, API-led architecture, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, JSON, XML, or similar messaging/integration technologies.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle and modern Java development tools.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of API and application security, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and mTLS.
• Understanding of performance, scalability, capacity planning, and operational excellence.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable distributed applications and enterprise APIs.

• Design solutions supporting Customer 360, customer data management, identity resolution, customer mastering, and consent management.

• Support digital, analytics, personalization, and AI/ML use cases.
• Apply data governance principles including data lineage, metadata management, privacy, and data quality.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability requirements.
