Job summary

LanceSoft Inc. is seeking a Java developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to own end-to-end delivery of large-scale distributed applications. You will analyze, design, code, test, and maintain software while collaborating with a highly motivated team across the firm.

You will interact with users and other technologists, applying strong Java/Spring skills, RESTful services, and messaging in a global delivery environment. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

Qualifications Primary Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Java developer with 3 to 5 years of experience who can take ownership for the whole end-to-end delivery, performing analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of large-scale and distributed applications. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and is likely to have significant experience in application development, a strong technical background, and good communication skills. He/she will interact directly with the users and with other technologists across the firm when using their framework/software.

Skillset required:

• Excellent working knowledge of the following technologies: Java, Spring, Relational Databases, Messaging, RESTful services
• Sound understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, familiarity with Design Patterns
• Experience in iterative / agile development practices.
• Exposure to working in a global delivery team. Comfortable with direct interaction with the business users at all levels.

Skills desired (optional):

• Familiarity with containerized applications and kubernetes. Experience with payments, SWIFT
