Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC in Lansing, MI is seeking a senior Java Developer (Programmer VI) to join a hybrid 2-days-on-site team.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager, Application Owner, and Resource Manager on an Agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code, and coordinate with UI/UX to build responsive interfaces.

The role requires extensive Java, Spring, and front-end experience, strong communication, self-direction, and the ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing complex systems in Java, with Eclipse or JBoss.
• 5+ years UI development using modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS.
• 5+ years with Spring Framework.
• 5+ years with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Bootstrap.
• 5+ years with JPA/Hibernate.
• 5+ years in an Agile development environment.
• 5+ years with HTML5, CSS, DataTables.
• 4+ years with Java 8.
• 4+ years with jQuery and jQuery UI.
• 4+ years with Oracle 12c or 19c.
• Exposure to front-end development technologies and frameworks.
• 4+ years with React.js preferred.
• 4+ years with JBoss Enterprise environment preferred.
• 4+ years with SQL/PL/SQL development preferred.
• 4+ years with Log4j, JUnit, and Apache Tiles preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

Title: Programmer VI

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid - 2-days onsite per week)

Note: This is a W2 contract role - C2C, 1099, & 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered

This is a Full-Stack Java Developer position working with the Project Manager, Application Owner, and Resource Manager on an Agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code. This position performs a variety of complicated tasks and may report directly to a Project Lead or Manager. This position must have excellent communication and teamwork skills, be self-directed, committed, and a quick learner. In addition to full-stack development, this position will also work with UI/UX team members in building user interfaces and responsive applications.

Position Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience developing complex computer systems using Java, including use of IDE tools such as Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio
• 5+ years of experience developing application user interfaces using modern JavaScript/front-end frameworks and CSS
• 5+ years of experience working with the Spring Framework
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Bootstrap
• 5+ years of experience with JPA/Hibernate frameworks
• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment
• 5+ years of experience using HTML5, CSS, and DataTables
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8
• 4+ years of experience with jQuery and jQuery UI
• 4+ years of experience working with Oracle 12c or Oracle 19c
• Exposure to front-end development technologies and frameworks

• 4+ years of experience working within the JBoss Enterprise environment preferred
