Job summary

Korn Ferry, partnering with our client, is seeking a Java Developer for a 12+ month contract in Jersey City, NJ, with the possibility of going full-time. The role focuses on building Java J2EE applications, microservices, and modern cloud-enabled solutions for a FinTech environment.

You should be proficient in Java J2EE, with hands-on experience in microservices and React, and familiar with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and secure, resilient design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java J2EE and microservices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Java J2EE application development and design techniques.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java-based microservices and front-end integration.
• Apply Agile methodologies and participate in CI/CD, testing, and delivery.
• Address cloud development, resiliency, and security considerations.

• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
