Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a senior backend developer who evolved from Java to Python and AWS cloud development, continuing to write production code daily with a focus on quality. Lead/Architect-level candidates are welcome only if they remain highly hands-on.

The role requires extensive AWS work, strong design and cloud architecture expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams while showing clear communication and follow-through.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/cloud development experience.
• Extensive hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong Python development experience, typically 5+ years.
• Extensive experience with AWS Lambda.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with AWS Step Functions.
• Strong CloudWatch experience.
• Strong system design and cloud architecture knowledge.
• Must be highly hands-on and actively writing code.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication and follow-through.
• Significant professional experience working in the USA is strongly preferred.
• AWS certification such as Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional is preferred.
