Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer in the Dallas area to build enterprise APIs and web applications using Angular, Typescript, and core Java with Spring/Spring Boot. You will lead teams, work in an Agile Scrum environment, and contribute to cloud deployment with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS.

The role emphasizes strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on delivering robust software through CI pipelines and modern tooling such as Jenkins

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Leadership experience to guide, encourage, and motivate your fellow engineers.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve engineering productivity and code quality
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills
