Ask IT Consulting Inc. in Albany, NY, seeks a hands-on Java software engineer for a 24-month contract to develop highly available, multi-tier applications. GC or USC candidates only; onsite work in Albany, NY.

The role requires strong experience with Java, JEE, EJB, JMS/MQ, Hibernate/JPA, and JSF. Ideal candidates will design scalable solutions, implement SOA patterns, and contribute to enterprise web applications.

Qualifications

1. 1. Hands-on experience developing highly available and scalable multitier applications using Java 1.5+ , using data structures, algorithms, object oriented software design, JEE design patterns, and Service Oriented Architecture.
2. 2. Hands-on experience developing Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) that utilize JMS, MQ 6.0+ and/or Hibernate/JPA.
3. 4. Experience developing and implementing web applications using JSF
