Job summary

Ask ITC Inc. is seeking an experienced senior web developer to design and implement scalable web applications. The role requires deep expertise in Java/J2EE, XML, and Web Services, plus Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Unix-based troubleshooting.

The candidate should demonstrate strong OO design skills and familiarity with multiple IDEs and enterprise tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, TOAD, Introscope, Splunk, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Qualifications

• 7+ years web development experience including programming/development of web applications
• At least 6 years experience in Java, J2EE, Servlets, XML, and Web Services development
• At least 6 years experience in advanced Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development
• At least 6 years experience in diagnosing and/or triaging application issues deployed in Unix
• At least 4 years experience in 2+ of CGI, Perl, Windows Scripting, & UNIX Shell Scripts
• Demonstrated experience in object-oriented development, design methodologies, and design patterns
• Demonstrated experience in 2+ of Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, TOAD, Introscope, Splunk, Oracle Developer/Enterprise Manager

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years web development experience which includes the programming/ development of web applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 6 years experience in Java, J2EE, Servlets, XML, and Web Services development
• At least 6 years experience in advanced Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development
• At least 6 years experience in diagnosing and/or triaging application issues deployed in Unix
• At least 4 years experience in 2 or more of the following scripting languages: CGI, Perl, Windows Scripting, & UNIX Shell Scripts
• Demonstrated experience in object-oriented development, design methodologies, and design patterns
• Demonstrated experience in 2 or more of the following IDEs/Tools: Eclipse, Intelli-J, Maven, TOAD, Introscope, Splunk, and Oracle Developer/Enterprise Manag er.
