Job summary

AIT Global Inc. in Chicago seeks a senior JAVA Developer to lead delivery of enterprise-grade Java applications in a banking/financial context. The role emphasizes strong hands-on development, cloud-native design, and RESTful microservices.

You will collaborate with business partners and technical staff, own deployment pipelines on AKS, and drive AI-enabled enterprise solutions using Azure and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on Java development experience.
• 10+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills interfacing with business partners and technical staff.
• Experience building full stack applications.
• Banking/Financial domain experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Ability to communicate with APP DBAs and troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Experience with AI technologies and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise apps (Claude, CoPilot, etc.).
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with cloud-native application architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments (GitHub Actions).
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.

Must Have Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Java development experience. 10+ years
• Strong hands-on experience and understanding of Microsoft Azure experience. 10+ years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with both business partners and technical staff.

• Ability to communicate effectively with Application DBAs (APP DBAs) and quickly troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications. Claude, CoPilot, Etc.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with cloud-native application architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployments. Using GitActions
