Job summary

SFE is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design and implement backend solutions in a distributed environment. You will work on RESTful services with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SOAP Webservices, and contribute to microservices and containerized deployments.

The role requires deep Java expertise, experience with databases (Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Cassandra), and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-volume systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on backend development in Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java backend frameworks, APIs, and database integration.
• Experience with RESTful services using Spring, Spring Boot, and SOAP Webservices.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and deployment.
• Proficient with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Cassandra NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with development tools: Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Strong OO design and J2EE concepts.
• Experience with Agile and SDLC.

Strong experience on using Development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE's, Maven, GIT, Bit Bucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk.

Experience in building of high volume, scalable, available distributed Technologies.

Experience on standard development design patterns of Creational, Behavioral JEE.

Experience on handling of cross functional issues by coordinating with distributed development teams across the regions.

Experience with development models such as Agile and SDLC Knowledge of test driven development.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment to meet the release deliverables.
