Job summary

Infosys seeks a Technology Consultant 1 in Salt Lake City, UT, to contribute across the SDLC, from requirements capture and design to development and testing. You will work on Java/J2EE, Spring, and microservices, ensuring robust software solutions for financial services clients.

The role requires collaboration, proactive issue resolution, and a proactive learning mindset while supporting production systems and documenting technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Core Java concepts: OOP, collections, streams, concurrency, exception handling.
• Experience in Java/J2EE & Spring: Spring Boot, Spring MVC; Struts for legacy migrations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications following detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team.
• Support the integration of new software features and ensure smooth transitions within the system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and document ongoing maintenance steps.
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions.
