Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful services using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.

The role requires hands-on experience with JPA, Hibernate, and microservices, plus SQL databases and CI/CD practices. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade software and ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Core Java, collections, multithreading, and exception handling.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Knowledge of Hibernate ORM concepts.
• Experience with REST API development and integration.
• SQL knowledge with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with Git.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and API testing tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of security concepts: Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth2.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
• Implement data access layers using JPA and Hibernate ORM.
• Optimize database queries and improve application performance.
• Design and maintain relational database schemas.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
