Job summary

CCGT LLC seeks an exceptionally skilled Software Developer (Java Backend) with DevOps expertise for an onsite contract in Cupertino or San Diego, CA. You will design, build, and scale Java microservices, APIs, and automated deployment pipelines, using Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of professional software development experience focusing on Java backend engineering.
• Deep hands-on proficiency with Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and REST API design.
• Proven professional experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and message brokers.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, shell scripting (Bash/Python), and networking protocols.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization: onsite in Cupertino, CA or San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-availability backend microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement robust enterprise integration patterns, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and distributed caching mechanisms.
• Architect, configure, and maintain containerized application environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
• Build, optimize, and manage automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Write highly optimized database queries and persistence layers across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with system architects, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software releases.
