Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is hiring a backend engineer in Atlanta to design and develop Java-based applications using Spring Boot/Spring Cloud. You will build microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems with secure auth (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT).

You will work with Kafka and RabbitMQ for event-driven patterns, manage databases (Oracle, MongoDB, Redis), and implement automated tests (JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers) while deploying via Docker/Kubernetes on AWS within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Design and develop backend applications using Java 11/17+ and Spring ecosystem.
• Build and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization with OAuth2/OIDC/JWT.

Responsibilities

• Develop event-driven applications using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases (Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Develop automated tests with JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• Deploy and manage apps with Docker, Kubernetes on AWS; adhere to CI/CD and Agile practices.
