Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a back-end software engineer to design and deliver scalable Java-based microservices for complex client systems. You will contribute to API development, leverage Docker/Kubernetes, and work with AWS and CI/CD tools to ship robust software solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Spring Framework, RESTful services, Linux, and a TS/SCI clearance, with an opportunity to grow technical and leadership skills within a mission-focused team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with backend frameworks, such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
• Experience with API development, including REST architectural style.
• Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Bitbucket, or Jenkins.
• Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development.
• Experience with Linux OS and Command Line Interface.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date.
