MoneyGram is seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer with 2-5 years of backend experience to design, develop, and deploy high-volume enterprise applications. You will architect robust, secure transactional systems, optimize billing/pricing engines, and drive technical excellence on AWS.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, low-latency financial software and lead modernization of deployment pipelines in a cloud-first environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong system-level troubleshooting skills using data.
• Self-starter capable of navigating ambiguity without step-by-step direction.
• Excellent proactive communication across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and implement high-availability Java applications.
• Write clean, secure, optimized code for large-scale financial transactions.
• Design and scale distributed microservices for consistency and speed.
• Optimize data models and transactional DB schemas (relational and NoSQL).
• Build secure APIs for financial network integrations and ERP connections.
• Manage secure AWS deployment pipelines with DevOps practices.
• Lead code reviews and mentor engineers on security standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and ensure zero-downtime production deployments.
