About the job Java Backend Engineer APIs & Microservices

Salary $120k -$150k

Position : Orange County - Hybrid

Were looking for a Java backend engineer with a strong focus on building APIs and microservices that support personalization and user insights. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend services that power machine learning models and deliver user-specific recommendations

BA in, Engineering, or similar

Minimum 3+ years of previous work building backend services and APIs

What Youll Do:

Strong expertise in Java development with Spring Boot framework.

Design, build, and deliver robust API solutions from the ground up

Apply proven software design principles to build robust and scalable system architectures.

Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and mobile teams

Build and maintain services in a microservices architecture with a focus on scalability and reliability.

Build with scalability and cloud in mind AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and so on)

Use AI-powered IDEs and tools to speed up development

Ensure reliable data handling and integrity when working with relational databases.

Use Docker and containers for local and production development

Familiarity with Python and Nod.js is a plus.
