Job summary

Wire IT, a Portugal-based IT consulting partner, seeks a senior Java backend developer with Kotlin for a 100% remote role. You will build scalable microservices with Spring Boot, Kafka, and GraphQL Federation, deploying on Azure via Terraform and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in similar functions.
• Hands-on experience with Java (Java 17+ preferred).
• Proficiency in Kotlin for backend or microservices development.

• Experience developing and integrating GraphQL Federation APIs.
• Familiar with GitHub workflows and CI/CD automation.
• Hands-on with Terraform and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.

• 5+ Years of experience in similar functions
• Solid hands-on experience with Java (Java 17+ preferred).
• Proficiency in Kotlin for backend or microservices development.
• Strong understanding of Spring Boot microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud environments.
• Experience implementing Kafka for event-driven systems.
