Job summary

Apptad Inc. is seeking two Java Backend Developers for on-site roles in Charlotte, NC. You will craft core Java applications, design microservices, and build scalable, secure cloud-native backends using Spring, Kafka, and modern data stores.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Java ecosystems, strong BPM and event-driven experience, proficiency in SQL/NoSQL, and hands-on CI/CD practices. Onsite interviews in Charlotte required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java application development, including object-oriented design, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• 4+ years of experience in BPM development, workflow orchestration, and process automation.
• 3+ years of experience building event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka, Pub/Sub platforms, and messaging patterns.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle DB and MongoDB.
• Strong experience designing and developing Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience implementing secure, scalable, and highly available backend solutions in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams.
