Job summary

Infinity Work Solution is seeking an experienced Backend Developer in Austin, TX, to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale Java backends in a complex Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Java/J2EE, Spring, and REST/SOAP experience, with strong SQL skills and a track record of delivering robust backend services. Local to Austin, TX, and in-person interviews are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring frameworks, enterprise app development, web services, databases and deployment in Agile environments.
• Proficient in REST and SOAP web services; solid knowledge of Spring Framework and extensive Java ecosystem.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning; familiarity with JUnit, Mockito and Jest.
• Ability to design and implement n-tier and distributed architectures; hands-on with deployment on WebSphere/JBoss.
• Prior experience in code reviews, SDLC processes, and mentoring junior developers; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
