Job description

Candidate is needed to assist in the development of several outstanding reporting initiatives and development within applications, as well as application migrations and oracle upgrades

• At least 4 years’ experience in Java and related technology.
• Unix and Windows hardware architecture
• Windows scripting skills (command file, Visual Basic batch, Microsoft Office integration)
• Testing methodology
• Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps.
• Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments.
• Solid experience working with development teams on the deployment of large volume transaction based applications (Java).
• Candidate should exhibit strong coding skills and have experience of recent application development.
• Software code management and Oracle database, 11G, is also a must.
• Must be able to work well within a team and have excellent oral and written communication skills since this position will be responsible for dealing with business customers in an ongoing basis.
• The developer will be communicating with a variety of people, (business, IT technical teams, etc), so they must have very clear communication.
