Job summary

Ethereum Technologies LLC in Columbus, OH seeks an senior software engineer with 10+ years in software development. You will design and implement Java-based microservices using Spring/Spring Boot, while leveraging AWS services (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS) and Terraform for infrastructure as code.

You will work in an Agile team, contribute to SDLC activities, troubleshoot, and improve delivery quality with Datadog monitoring and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience required.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices is essential.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS) and Terraform preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various phases of the SDLC in an Agile environment.

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Experienced with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3,RDS, terraform). AWS Developer or Solution Architect certification preferred.
• No-SQL database experience is good to have - DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.
• Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins
• Strong communication skills and experienced in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology.
• Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving
• Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.

Job Description/ Responsibilities

• Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment
• Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka)
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.
