Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Architecture Consultant 2 to lead design and architecture discussions for performance, security, and scalability across enterprise projects.

You will evaluate technologies, contribute to framework development, and guide solution deployment with a focus on AI-driven SDLC acceleration, cloud-native patterns, and governance across global delivery. This role may require relocation and travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java Spring Boot, Angular, Python and AWS.
• Hands-on Generative AI for SDLC acceleration.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts (Prompt Engineering).
• Principal/Architect level with enterprise architecture ownership.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture and drive design creation.
• Identify suitable technologies and perform market comparisons to recommend optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies based on PoC validation of proposed architectures.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards during build and deployment.

In the assigned Job Role of Architecture Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation
• Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform a comparative analysis in line with client's business requirement, thereby identifying optimal architectural solution options
• Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions
• Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to the build and deployment automation strategy
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and roll out methods, during build, deployment and support phases
• Analyze system performance basis architectural solutions implemented and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape
• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Your contribution to the team:

• The ability to analyse, design, and develop scalable and secure architectures.
• A knack for assessing multiple technologies, tools and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Understanding of integration methodologies, proof-of-concept validation and deployment strategies.
• The ability to document architectural frameworks and solutions.
• Proactive communication with internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• A knack to keep with up technical advancements to ensure relevant and effective recommendations.
• The ability to maintain standards and ensure smooth transition through knowledge transfer

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in Core Stack - Java (Spring Boot), Angular, Python, AWS
• Hands on in Generative AI for SDLC acceleration - GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Google Duet, Devin, Cursor, etc.
• Strong Understanding of Generative AI – Prompt Engineering, Vibe Coding / AI-Assisted Development,
• Experience Level: Principal / Architect with enterprise architecture ownership

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience with event-driven architecture patterns (Kafka, SQS/SNS, event sourcing, CQRS).
• Preferred Edge: Event-driven architecture, IaC, DevSecOps, and financial services domain expertise.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, CloudWatch) and SRE practices.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC2, PCI-DSS, NIST).
• Financial services or banking domain experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working in SAFe or other scaled agile delivery models.
• Strong executive communication skills — able to present architecture decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
