Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Java Architect (Practicing Solution Architect) to join our hybrid team across multiple US locations. The role requires deep software development and architectural design expertise, including Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks.

You will design scalable architectures, mentor teams, and evaluate technologies to drive secure, high-performance enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

  • Senior Architect with 15+ years relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, React.js or Angular (Node.js).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS & Microservices architecture.
  • Guide and mentor team members to adopt best practices and coding standards.
  • Resolve technical challenges, perform application optimization.
  • Help provide specifications for APIs.
  • Utility Domain experience - Required

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Produce architectural diagrams, documentation and presentations to communicate design decisions.
  • Evaluate new technologies, frameworks and tools to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Conduct security assessments and implement necessary measures following best practices and industry standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including project managers, testers, architects to deliver solutions.
  • Participate in project planning and issue resolution to ensure project deliveries.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
