Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC is seeking a senior software architect to define and drive the architecture for enterprise Java solutions. You will design scalable microservices with Spring Boot, set standards, and provide technical leadership across teams.

You will lead architectural reviews, design REST and event-driven systems, work with Kafka, and architect for AWS/Azure with Docker/Kubernetes deployments. A strong focus on security, observability, and modernization is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive application architecture and technical design for enterprise Java solutions.
• Design scalable microservices and API-driven architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, architecture reviews, code reviews, and troubleshooting support.
• Design and optimize REST APIs, event-driven services, and distributed systems.
• Work with Kafka or similar messaging platforms for asynchronous/event-driven architectures.
• Architect solutions for AWS/Azure environments, including containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, resiliency, performance, and application security practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, security, infrastructure, and other architects.
• Evaluate existing/legacy applications and define modernization and cloud migration strategies.
• Mentor developers and provide technical direction throughout the SDLC.
