Job Description:

• This is an advanced software engineering position. The focus will be on developing and improving the terminal interfaces that both players and retailers use to purchase and validate Lottery products.
• This is primarily a software development position and specific /current experience is required.
• It is required to have a primary focus of experience with both Java and Angular. This must be the engineer’s current and very recent skill set.
• Experience with protobuf technics and other serialization mechanisms is a plus.
• You would be part of a distributed team. You must be comfortable working in a group. You will have to use tools such as linters and mandatory code reviews.
• As a part of the team, must be able to accept design decisions and follow the patterns. This code base has a specific design that needs to be adhered to and pick up the pattern and practices quickly.
• Professional skills that would be favourable for the candidate; Jakarta EE (CDI/Weld), asynchronous programming (CompletableFuture in Java and Observable in Typescript).
• Experience working on POS terminals would be a plus.
