Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Java Application Developer to join a large federal program. This is a fully onsite role in Herndon, VA, and it is a full-time position with a mission-essential program that is fully funded for the next 4+ years.

The candidate will develop software for business and mission applications, follow established development lifecycles, and ensure standards are met. Strong Java skills, frontend experience, and the ability to obtain active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Java experience is required.
• Frontend experience with tools like Angular or React would be great.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Kubernetes is great.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software to develop software for business/mission applications.
• Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Ensure software standards are defined and met.
