Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Architect to lead the design and development of cutting-edge software applications. You will create technical blueprints, define product/solution architecture, and write specifications for projects.

As a hands-on leader, you will mentor the team, work with Marketing, Product, and Engineers, and guide integration of Kafka, microservices, and MongoDB. This onsite role offers collaboration across client teams in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Dallas.

Qualifications

At least 9+ years of Java API development using Springboot, hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience.
3+ years of experience leading teams and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Strong knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Experience integrating Java applications with MongoDB.
Strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, PL/SQL in Unix/Windows environments.
Excellent collaboration within distributed teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and drive with the client to deliver technical solutions.
Ensure sound, high-quality technical deliverables.
Guide the microservices architecture roadmap and direction.
Provide architectural guidance for Kafka, microservices, and MongoDB integrations.
Mentor team members to develop top-quality code.
Collaborate with leadership and the tech team to align on test plans and delivery.
