Job summary

Apptad Inc. is seeking a strong Java full stack developer to join a fast-paced Agile team in the United States. The role emphasizes API and microservice development, Kafka and Camunda workflow components, and RESTful interfaces.

You will collaborate with the tech lead, scrum master, and cross-functional teams to ensure design and coding standards are met. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in US public trust work, solid Java/Spring experience, and excellent communication for a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in US for public trust.
• Minimum 3 years experience in full stack development using Java and Spring.
• 2-3 years experience Spring Boot Microservices.
• Good coordination and communication skills to work in a matrix of fast paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive design and development activities under guidance from the Tech Lead, the Scrum Master, and the functional team.
• Develop APIs and Microservices adhering to the project's technical design and coding standards.
• Design and develop components for Kafka and Camunda based workflows.
• Develop system interfaces using RESTful services.
• Coordinate with other work streams like common technology foundation and security on design, architecture and implementation.

Role Description:

• Strong Java full stack developer

• Drive design and development activities under the guidance from the Tech Lead, the Scrum Master, and the functional team
• Develop APIs and Microservices. *Must adhere to the project's technical design and coding standards*
• Design and develop components for Kafka and Camunda based work flows
• Develop system interfaces using RESTful services
• Coordinate with other work streams like common technology foundation and security on design, architecture and implementation

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3yrs experience working in U.S for public trust
• Minimum 3yrs experience in full stack development using Java, Spring
• 2-3yrs experience Spring boot Microservices
• Good coordination and communication skills to work in a matrix of fast paced teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2yrs experience in Kafka or Camunda implementations
• 1-2yrs experience developing or integrating with Angular UI
• Any experience working in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) based environment and Service Mesh implementation
• Any experience in performance testing of APIs using ReadyAPI or similar tools
• Any experience using Swagger OpenAPI and Apicurio
