Description

The Java/AI Software Engineer will focus on designing and developing innovative software solutions, leveraging Java and AI technologies, to support the technology needs of the financial services industry. This role is based in New York and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java and AI technologies to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to design, implement, and optimize software solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in software applications and provide timely solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Java and AI technologies.

Profile

• Core Java Tech Stack: Java, Spring Framework, JDBC/JPA (Hibernate), SQL, IBM DB2/Oracle, IBM MQ/JMS messaging, multithreading, XML/JSON processing, JUnit/TestNG, secure coding, and enterprise application development in distributed systems environments.
• Professional experience using AI/LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled applications.
• Python, Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
