You will evaluate requests, interpret specifications, and propose practical design solutions for retaining rings and wave springs. You will collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing, provide technical quotations, and help optimize lead times, tooling, and packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited four-year institution.
• Fluent in speaking, reading and writing Japanese.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer requests to determine if items are Smalley manufactured.
• Explain design concepts and provide product recommendations.
• Provide phone support to customers.
• Coordinate with production to determine lead times and tooling.
