Japanese speaking Infrastructure and Application Support

[Visa Support] Japanese-Speaking IT Infrastructure & Application Support Specialist – (Financial Industry / Remote - U.S.) Ref: KM46627

A U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese IT company is seeking a Bilingual IT Infrastructure and Application Support Specialist to work on projects primarily serving clients in the financial industry.

You will be responsible for supporting Linux-based systems, managing releases and incidents, and applying your expertise in IT security. This role requires prior work experience in English-speaking environment and strong technical skills in Linux and security management.

Work Style: Fully remote (applicants must reside in the U.S.)

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000/year (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST)

Location: Anywhere in the U.S. (Remote)

Infrastructure and Application Support Main Responsibilities:

• Provide support for Linux-based systems
• Handle IT security matters (e.g., vulnerabilities, access controls)
• Manage system releases and updates
• Incident management and troubleshooting
• Communicate with clients and internal teams in both Japanese and English
• General support activities according to project needs

Required Qualifications:

• Broad knowledge of IT security
• Experience in release and incident management
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in IT support within the financial industry
• Experience in client-facing or vendor coordination roles
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
