Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Japanese language or related area.
• Native Japanese speakers preferred; native or near-native proficiency required.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching undergraduates and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Teach several levels of Japanese language as part of an interdisciplinary setting.
• Work with the ALLEX Fellow to assist in teaching Japanese language and culture.
• Manage a 26-credit teaching load per academic year and supervise independent studies.
